The more power that voting levers confer, the more unreliable elections become as a mode of governance.

—-  James Bovard

Two days after his apparent re-election victory, Republican (fascist/socialist) de facto President George W. Bush (having received an unlawful advantage of 52 ineligible Electoral votes) says to the national press corps, “When you win, there is a feeling that the people have spoken and embraced your point of view … and the people made it clear what they wanted.”

Question: Did WE THE PEOPLE “consent” to the shelling of Fallujah, Iraq, with depleted Uranium a few days later, the births of the first babies since the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings six decades previous to be born with nuclear induced birth defects?
