The supreme court, of the corporate United states, refuses to hear Philadelphia Newspapers v. new jersey, upholding a state supreme court decision, which allows judges to place gag orders on jurors to prevent them from talking to the media—after they have been dismissed from jury duty.

judge (sic) Joseph Tauro of the district of massachusetts refuses to hear Doe v. Bush, petitioning court for an injunction against “Operation Iraqi Fiefdom” until a war is declared by CONgress. Tauro dismisses the suit because war does not appear imminent.
