William Henry “Bill” Gates, III, co-founder of Microsoft, Inc., apologizes to the senate judiciary committee for being successful in the computer industry, by providing better products and services to consumers, at lower cost, than his competitors.  As Microsoft’s market share increased throughout the 1980s and 90s, the prices charged by Microsoft for its products and services continued to spiral downward.
