The supreme court, of the corporate United states, hands down Central Hudson Gas & Electric v. (new york) Public Service Commission: Via the fraudulent 14th amendment, states may not prohibit public utilities (government protected monopolies) from encouraging their captive customers to use more electricity.

       NOTE: In rendering this decision the court ignored the new york constitution of 1894, article I, section 8.
