The supreme court, of the corporate United states, hands down Craig v. Harney: state courts may not hold newspapers in contempt for the mere expression of opinion. In rendering this verdict the court relies on the fraudulent 14th amendment, and completely ignores the texas constitution of 1876, article I, section 8.
