While the army and navy of the United states are in the Pacific, fighting “for a world in which this [n]ation, and all that this [n]ation represents, will be safe for our children,” the supreme court, of the corporate United states, hands down Borden v. Borella: building elevators—which travel up and down, and not across state lines—affects interstate commerce, and are thus subject to Federal regulation.
