Democratic (socialist/fascist) de facto President Franklin Roosevelt, Esq.—without a constitutional amendment—signs the National Firearms Act, the first Federal gun control statute.   The act places a 200 “dollar” sumptuary tax on the sale of small arms that are protected by Article II of Amendment.  Shot guns (the descendants of the smooth bore muskets used in the first American Revolution) are not legitimate military weapons therefore they are not protected by Article II of Amendment.

       NOTES:

  • This unlawful tax on an inalienable right amounts to several months’ worth of wages for the average worker in the fourth year of the Great Depression.
  • As an attorney (Officer of the Court) Roosevelt was ineligible to serve in two branches of government at the same time, according to Article I, Section 6 [Clause 2].
