The supreme judicial court of maine decides Jones v. Secretary of State, making maine the first state in the nation to use ranked-choice voting (a.k.a. instant run-off voting) in its upcoming presidential election.  Under RCV/IRV voters are allowed to rank all five candidates (Roque De La Fuente, Alliance Party; Howard G. Hawkins, Green Party; Jo Jorgenson, Libertarian Party; as well as the two status quo (Democratic and Republican) candidates) according to their personal preferences, instead of being limited to voting for only one candidate.
