Peter McWilliams, afflicted with AIDS related lymphoma, asphyxiates on his own vomit while taking a bath. judge (sic) George H. King, of the Federal court for the southern district of the republic of california, forbade McWilliams from using medicinal marijuana, legal in california, as a condition of his pre-sentencing release. Instead King restricted McWilliams to prescribed Marinol, a highly ineffective drug that only worked one-third of the time, and left him nauseous and in pain.
