McWilliams, rules that Peter McWilliams and Todd McCormick—both cancer sufferers—may not use the republic of california’s Proposition 215 (The Compassionate Use Act) as a legal defense against charges that they grew and sold medical marijuana to the Cannabis Buyers Club, to be distributed to residents in need of such therapy.
