The Federal court for the district of south dakota hands down United states v. Matlack: judge Charles B. Kornman sentences Cody C. Matlack to 11¼ years in prison for distribution of methamphetamines.  Matlack had entered into a good faith plea bargain of seven to nine years with the U.s. attorney.  But instead the prosecutor reneged on the agreement and unlawfully presented “add-ons,” which extended the sentence.

NOTE: This is a violation of Articles V, VII and VIII of Amendment.
