The Federal court for the western district of virginia hands down United states v. Jenkins, sentencing Nerika Jenkins to 19½ years in prison for refusing to cooperate in a United States Attorney’s crack cocaine investigation.  Jenkins would have received four years if she cooperated in the prosecution’s manipulation and fabrication of evidence.  The only evidence against Jenkins was hearsay evidence of plea bargainers and possession of money order receipts.
