While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are stationed at 737 bases, in 130 nations around the world, defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” the 48th district court, of michigan hands down Township of West Bloomfield v. Connolly: judge Marc Barron sentences five pro-life protestors to terms of community service ranging from 6 to 24 months and fines and restitution upwards of 1,000 “dollars” each, for trespassing at an abortion clinic. During the trial Barron refused to allow the defendants to present their “criminal defense of necessity” to the jury.
