The supreme court, of the corporate United states, decides Lopez v. United states, declaring the Gun-Free School Zones Act to be unlawful as carrying a gun near a school is not an economic activity and does not affect interstate commerce.

       NOTE: This was the first case for over half a century in which the supreme court curtailed the powers usurped by CONgress the pretense of Article I, Section 8 [Clause 3].
