Democratic (socialist/fascist) de facto President Obama (either a natural born subject of the United Kingdom enclave of Kenya, or a natural born resident of the republic of Hawaii), signs the Continuing Appropriations Act of 2016, which contains the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act.  The CISA allows private businesses to directly share confidential information with Federal statute enforcement and intelligence agencies, bypassing the Department of Homeland Security.

       NOTE: The CISA was added as an amendment, because it was too controversial to pass CONgress on its own merit.

       Federal Bureau of Investigation agents (acting under-color-of-law) arrest Martin Shkreli, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Turing Pharmaceuticals, for securities fraud and wire fraud charges.  Shkreli’s real crime was buying the rights to “orphan drugs” (lifesaving drugs which needed by very few patients) and then raising the prices of those drugs to astronomical levels.

       Postscript: As expected in a free-market, other drug companies motivated by the profit incentive began developing and producing competing drugs, which served to put downward pressure on prices.

       NOTE: While Shkreli may not be the most altruistic of people, his actions have killed far fewer innocent individuals than Democratic (socialist/fascist)—Nobel Peace Prize recipient—de facto President Obama (either a natural born subject of the United Kingdom enclave of Kenya, or a natural born resident of the republic of Hawaii).
