Richard Plotts fatally shoots Theresa Hunt, a psychiatric caseworker, at the Sister Marie Lenahan Wellness Center, in Darby, pennsylvania. Plotts also wounds his psychiatrist Lee Silverman. Silverman retrieves a sidearm that he keeps in his office–against hospital policy–and incapacitates Plotts before he is able to harm anyone else.
