The first regular minting of American Eagle gold coins are struck by the United states Mint, in West Point, new york, bearing denominations of 1, 5, 10, 25 and 50 Dollars.

       NOTE: These are first time since 1933, that the U.s. Mints have produced a gold coin.  The market value of these coins far outstrips the face value by a factor of more than 7:1.
