The Federal court for the, western district of missouri hands down, missouri v. Jenkins: judge Russell G. Clark orders the Kansas City School District—a government protected education monopoly—to impose a tax-increase.

Postscript: Five years and 2,000,000,000 “dollars” later, the KCSD had purchased a television studio, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, several robotics laboratories, a zoo, a wildlife sanctuary, planetarium, and renovating existing buildings.
