The supreme court, of the corporate United states, hands down Buckley v. Valeo, declaring as lawful certain limits on campaign spending by political parties and candidates.

       NOTE: The only effective way to limit campaign spending to limit CONgress to its spending authorizations in the Constitution for the united States.
