The supreme court, of the corporate United states, hands down Schneckloth v. Bustamonte: Municipal police are not required to inform “drivers” (a legal term for “travelers” transporting goods, services or persons in commerce) that they may refuse a warrantless request to search their vehicles.

       NOTE: The best way to protect this right is for all Citizens to know and assert their rights every time they are challenged.
