Democratic (socialist/fascist) President Lyndon Johnson (a write-in candidate) wins the new hampshire Democratic presidential primary with 49.8% of the vote. Also-rans include:
- Democratic Senator Eugene J. McCarthy, of minnesota (the only candidate on the ballot) – 42.1%;
- Republican (fascist/socialist) former de facto Vice President Richard M. Nixon, Esq., (a write-in candidate) – 4.6%;
- Other write-in candidates – 3.5%.
NOTES:
- Even though Johnson had not declared as a candidate for re-election, McCarthy’s strong showing as an antiwar candidate revealed the President to be vulnerable.
- As an attorney (Officer of the Court) Nixon was ineligible to serve in two branches of government at the same time, according to Article I, Section 6 [Clause 2].
