While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are in Vietnam, “united in … determination to take all necessary measures in support of freedom,” Robert Strange McNamara, Secretary of Defense (foreign military aggression), commissions the writing of the 47 volume, 7,000 plus page United States-Vietnam Relations, 1945 – 1967: A Study Prepared by the Department of Defense (a.k.a. “The Pentagon Papers”).  The process of writing the study is to be completely secret relying solely upon files in the possession of the Department of Defense.

       NOTES:

  • History is not clear as to why McNamara commissioned the writing of the Pentagon Papers.  Presumably it was to help his friend Democratic (socialist/fascist) de facto senator Robert F. Kennedy, Esq., of new york in a future bid for the presidency.
  • As an attorney (Officer of the Court) Kennedy was ineligible to serve in two branches of government at the same time, according to Article I, Section 6 [Clause 2].
