       While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are in Vietnam, “united in … determination to take all necessary measures in support of freedom,” Democratic (socialist/fascist) President Lyndon Johnson signs the Voting Rights Act of 1965, prohibiting racially based voting (affirming the status quo) discrimination in Federal, state and municipal elections: “[T]he vote is the most powerful instrument ever devised by man for breaking down injustice and destroying the terrible walls which imprison men because they are different from other men.”
