The supreme court of new jersey hands down Kilmurray v. Gilbert: “[I]t is in the public interest and the general intent of the election laws [statutes] to preserve the two party system [duopoly] and to submit to the electorate a ballot of both major political [status quo] parties as well as other qualifying parties and groups.”
