While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are in Korea, “champion[ing] liberty wherever the tyranny of communism is the aggressor,” Commander-in-Chief Truman issues Executive Order 10340, directing the Secretary of Commerce to seize steel mills across the nation, to avert a possible strike.
