Democratic (socialist/fascist) President Truman signs the Lanham Trademark Act, strengthening Federal penalties against trademark infringement, trademark dilution, and false advertising.

       NOTE: Although Article I, Section 8 [Clause 8] allows Congress to issue patents and copyrights to protect inventors and writers, nowhere in the Constitution for the united States is Congress given the power to issue trademarks for the protection of corporate identities.
