Churchill, of the United Kingdom; and Chiang Kai-shek, military dictator of the Republic of China, conclude five days of negotiations in Cairo, Egypt, agreeing to fight until the unconditional surrender of the Empire of Japan, and to deprive Japan of all territory it has occupied since 1894.
NOTE: As an attorney (Officer of the Court) Roosevelt was ineligible to serve in two branches of government at the same time, according to Article I, Section 6 [Clause 2].
