The last marines of the navy of the United states, stationed in Haiti depart for the U.s.

        Postscript: Power was turned over to an elected government, which quickly gave way to a cycle of dictatorship, corruption, revolution and dictatorship.  Thus ended the U.s.’ first attempt at nation building (0-1).
