While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are stationed at 737 bases, in 130 nations around the world, defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” Deborah A.P. Hersman, Chairwoman of the National Transportation Safety Board, recommends to the states that they reduce the threshold for impaired “driving” (a legal term for “traveling” with goods, services or persons in commerce) from the current national blood-alcohol content standard of 0.08% to 0.05%.
NOTE: The majority of BAC levels that involve fatalities are 0.16%, or higher. Lowering that level from one-half that amount to one-third would not make a difference.
