The pre-New Deal (1930 – 1932) concludes: “Lame-duck” Republican (fascist/socialist) President Hoover, at the reconvening of the status quo (Republican and Democratic) ninth counterfeit CONgress (elected in accordance with the fraudulent 17th amendment) defends his record claiming credit for ending the Great Depression: “The unprecedented emergency measures enacted and policies adopted undoubtedly saved the country from economic disaster. …”

       NOTE: Although Hoover uses the word “country” here, the editors believe that he meant to use the word “nation,” in which a central government, with almost limitless power, treats its constituent states as mere enclaves, provinces, or sub-divisions of its greater self; as opposed to “Union,” which is a union of sovereign States under a federal system, with a central government whose powers are strictly limited by a respected Constitution.
