We’ll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false.

—- William J. Casey, Director of Central Intelligence (1981 – 1987)

While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are stationed at 737 bases, in 130 nations around the world, defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” the Federal court for the eastern district of virginia (the “hanging court”) hands down United states v. Kiriako: judge Leonie M. Brinkema sentences John C. Kiriakou, a former officer with the Central Intelligence Agency, to two and a half years in prison for having embarrassed the CIA by publicly disclosing that the agency has been torturing its prisoners.

NOTE: the Federal court for the eastern district of virginia is sometimes referred to as the “hanging court” because its jury pool has the highest concentration of workers in the military industrial complex (a.k.a. the “deep state”); they are most likely to be sympathetic to Federal prosecutors on national security issues.
