The infamous Dalton Gang meets its demise in a hail of bullets and shotgun blasts, after the gang tried to rob the First National (private) Bank, in Coffeyville, Kansas, and the town’s residents took exception. The residents had worked hard to build their community, and did not want to see their savings deposited in the form of banknotes (Bills of Credit) that were redeemable for lawful Money (gold and silver Coin), stolen from them.
Question: Would United states subject/enemy/citizens feel the same loyalty today toward the four “too-big-to-fail” commercial banks, Bank of America, Citibank, JP Morgan-Chase, and Wells Fargo; or would they stand on the sidelines and cheer the robbers on?
