In Cheran Mexico, a mob of angry women armed only with rocks and fireworks attacks a band of “falcons,” armed with semi-automatic rifles, working for the La Familia Michoacana drug cartel.  The women drive the falcons, along with the higher ranking hitmen and local lieutenant out of town.

Postscript: The residents quickly disbanded the municipal city council and police force, which were thoroughly corrupted drug money.  For at least the next seven years Cheran was ruled by local street level elected ad hoc groups and patrolled by volunteer neighborhood militias.
