The Federal court for the northern district of illinois, hands down United states v. Miedzianowski: judge Blanche M. Manning sentences Joseph Miedzianowski , a former Chicago drug enforcement officer, to life in prison for protecting a Chicago-Miami cocaine ring.
NOTE: The only way to rid municipal statute enforcement departments of corruption is to re-legalize drugs, thus removing the tempting monetary incentives to corruption. This will allow the SEOs to focus on their primary duty of arresting those who prey upon the lives and property of innocent people.
