The Federation of Canadian Municipalities passes a resolution refusing to accept bids from United states’ contractors. This is in solidarity with Prime Minister Stephan Harper, of the Dominion of Canada, and his moves to erect trade barriers against the U.s. for the “buy American” provisions of the 787,000,000,0000 “dollar” pork-barrel American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
