A lawfully elected Senate (in accordance with Article I, Section 3 [Clause 1]) unanimously ratifies the Treaty of San Lorenzo (a.k.a. Pickney’s Treaty) with the Kingdom of Spain, settling the border dispute between Georgia and the Spanish enclave of West Florida in Spain’s favor, and granting Americans free navigation on the Mississippi River.
