While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are stationed at 737 bases, in 130 nations around the world, defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” lame duck Republican (fascist/socialist) Vice President Richard B. Cheney admits to sanctioning the torture of Guantanamo Bay inmates:

       I was aware of the program, certainly, and involved in helping get the process cleared, as the [Central Intelligence] agency in effect came in and wanted to know what they could and couldn’t do,” Cheney said. “And they talked to me, as well as others, to explain what they wanted to do. And I supported it.

       NOTE: The torture that Cheney was speaking of was “waterboarding” (simulated drowning).  Following the Axis War (World War II) the U.s. tried and convicted Japanese officers for war crimes for having using waterboarding on American prisoners of war.
