The Second Continental Congress passes the eleventh Certificate Act, authorizing the issue of 75,000,000 “dollars” in Continental currency notes (Bills of Credit), in four, five, six, seven, eight, 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 “dollar” denominations.

       NOTE: This act raises the Continental debt to 267,500,000 Dollars.
