The Second Continental Congress passes the tenth Certificate Act, authorizing the issue of 25,000,000 “dollars” in Continental currency notes (Bills of Credit), in four, five, six, seven, eight, 30 and 40 “dollar” denominations.

       NOTE: This act raises the Continental debt to 192,500,000 Dollars.
