While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are stationed at 737 bases, in 130 nations around the world, defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” 12 year-old Anna Leigh Tomalis of Clarksville, maryland, dies of soft-tissue sarcoma (skin cancer?).  Tomalis’ parents had appealed to the Food and Drug Administration for application of a trial drug called Defolorimus (Ridaforolimus).  But the FDA denied permission because she had not yet attained the minimum age for experimental treatment, and did not want to take the risk that she might die.
