The Iraqi Civil War continues: a series of suicide bombings by the al-Qaida (Arabic for “the Base”) international terrorist network kill 50 Shi’ite (partisans of Ali) Moslems, in two ethnic Turkoman villages north of Baghdad.
NOTE: Meanwhile only four members of the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) lost their lives.
