While the United States Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are in Afghanistan, Djibouti, Iraq, the Philippines and west Africa defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” Eisenhower II ends, as control of CONgress shifts from the Republican (fascist/socialist) Party to the Democratic (socialist/fascist) Party. The key issue for the Democratic Party prior to the election was ending the Iraqi-American War.
NOTE: During the four and a half years that Republican Party controlled all three political branches of the Federal government, the house of representatives the senate, and the presidency,
- the Federal government’s income rose twenty percent, from 2,000,000,000,000 to 2,500,000,000,000 “dollars” per year;
- the Federal government’s expenditures rose nearly a third, from 1,900,000,000,000 to 2,800,000,000,000 “dollars” per year;
- the Federal government’s public debt rose over fifty percent, from 5,730,000,000,000 to 8,680,000,000,000 “dollars”;
- President George W. Bush issued 147 “signing statements” to accompany the myriad of new legislation he enacted, explaining why he was not going to enforce, or obey, the new statutes;
- an estimated 655,000 Iraqi citizens, and 2,964 members of the United States Armed Forces, were killed in the Iraqi-American War/Iraqi Civil War;
So much for conservative Republicans!
