Mir Wais Sadeq, Aviation Minister of Afghanistan is killed in a bomb blast that was probably intended for his father, warlord Ismail Khan, governor of the western province of Herat. Sayed Ali Shah Wali, an Afghan intelligence official, blames the assassination attempt on Zahir Nayabzada, a district flag grade officer in the Army of recently appointed by “President” Hamid Karzai, (an ethnic Pashtun).
NOTE: The killing of the third aviation minister since Karzai became “President of Afghanistan,” demonstrates that he is little better than “Mayor of Kabul.” It also demonstrates the failed attempt at nation building in Afghanistan by de facto President George W. Bush, (having received an unlawful advantage of 52 ineligible electoral votes).
