Mohammed Mohammed Hassan Odaini, an 18-year-old citizen of Yemen, is arrested during a visit to a friend’s home that is raided by Pakistani police.
Postscript: Odaini was eventually turned over to the Central Intelligence Agency and held in Guantanamo Bay (Cuba) Naval Prison for eight years before judge Henry H. Kennedy, Jr., of the Federal court for the District of Columbia, ordered him set free for lack of evidence that he had any ties to terrorism.
Question: Is it any wonder why they hate us?
[added 7/4/2023] Thanks to Freedom’s Phoenix for this entry.
While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are in Afghanistan and the Philippines defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” Republican (fascist/socialist) de facto President George W. Bush (having received an unlawful advantage of 52 ineligible Electoral votes) signs the McCain-Feingold/Shays-Meehan Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act of 2002, restricting the use of corporate political action committee money in Federal elections.
NOTE: The reason there is more and more money is finding its way into the electoral process is because the Federal government is continually expanding its role in people’s lives. When the Federal government is limited to its 30-some authorized functions as enumerated in the Constitution for the united States, money will leave politics.
