While the United States Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are in Afghanistan and the Philippines defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” Douglas J. Feith, Under Secretary of Defense (foreign military aggression) for Policy, is quoted in the Washington Post as saying, “Defense Department officials don’t lie to the public. … The Defense Department doesn’t do covert action, period.”
