The Overseer Board of New Life church, in Colorado Springs, colorado  (a 501(c)3, government-chartered, non-profit corporation, as opposed to a new testament (First Amendment) Church ) fires its founding pastor, theo-conservative (dominionist) Reverend Ted Haggard, for homosexual conduct, and illegal drug use.  As President of the National Association of Evangelicals, Haggard had been a fervent supporter of the Republican (fascist/socialist) party, an occasional advisor to President George W. Bush, and lent his political support to an upcoming ballot initiative that would amend the state constitution to ban same-sex marriage.
