While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are in Afghanistan, Djibouti, Iraq, the Philippines and west Africa defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” Randall L. Tobias, Administrator of the U.s. Agency for International Development, in an interview with the Public Broadcasting System, blames prostitution for the rise in Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS): “[P]rostitution and sex trafficking … are … two contributing causes to the spread of HIV/AIDS.”

       Postscript: Eleven months later Tobias was forced to resign his position after having been named in a prostitution investigation.
