A week after the polls closed in the Los Angeles, california Mayoral primary election, reality television personality Spencer W. Pratt’s initial 43,000 vote lead over City Council Member Nithya V. Raman for second place evaporates as thousands of late ballots marked ONLY for Raman and incumbent Karen R. Bass are counted. Under the republic of california’s top-two primary rules Bass and Raman will face off against each other in the November general election.
