The Department of Justice charges Shahram Poursafi, a member of the Revolutionary Guard Corps, of the Islamic Republic of Iran, with plotting to assassinate John R. Bolton, former National Security Advisor to Republican (fascist/socialist) former President Trump. This is revenge for Trump’s having ordered the January 2020 assassination of RGC’s Quds Force leader, Qassem Soleimani.
