The Federal court for the (Federal enclave of) Arizona decides United states v. Warren: The jury fails to reach a unanimous guilty verdict regarding Scott Warren’s distribution of water and other humanitarian aid to free-market workers crossing the Sonora desert, who are seeking a better life in the U.s. Eight of 12 jurors empowered through self-knowledge, to judge the decrees and the evidence in question, vote to suspend what they determine to be an unlawful statute.
NOTE: Historically this would have been considered to be an acquittal. Instead judge Raner C. Collins called for a conference to decide whether or not to give the prosecutors another chance to ruin Warren’s life.
